Default HELP lipo regulator question

Hi does anyone know if there will be a problem if I dont run a regulator with the following setup,

receiver is a spektrum pro
servos are both futaba s9152
transponder is amb
battery is 1300mah 7.4v premium power
transmitter 3pks

can I run without a regulator last week I ran 4x5min races and 1 20min main no problem but I just want to double check if its ok to continue??

cheers

hi,
u risk frying yr servos and AMB if their rated input is 6V only.

why u wanna remove the regulator?
i'll fit the regulator for a peace of mind.

Not sure about your servos but when i had my brushless 1/8 i ran a BEC set at 7 volts... Servos with a heatsink case are no problem.

My personal Trans didnt seem to be affected either but i wouldnt recomend it if your worried about it.

cheers for that 2 things
finding a good spot to fit the regulator is a pain and secondly i was running a 2amp regulator which was not enough as i had glitches in power I obviously need a 5amp regulator.
thanks again

I have had it on the starter box with all electrics on and when I operate steering and throttle that the light goes out on the amb and every now and then the throttle would surge to wide open throttle and come back in a second to idle. thats my problem I think its a surge problem between servos steering and throttle and the amb cause the regulator is only putting out 2amp but when i took the reg off it ran perfect??not a drama at all??
cheers
