Your 12v 7ah batt - I assume this is a starter box batt. The charger that came with mine is basically a trickle charger and charges at 600ma. I got tired of having to tend to mine all the time - seemed like it was usually flat when I needed it cause I forgot about it so I bought a float style charger - soon as I get home with it I hook it up and leave it hooked up until I use it again. Its always fully charged and ready to go. Float charger charges and maintains it at it optimum charge.

On the two batts at once, yes it will but it gets complicated if you're talking lipo since that requires some special wiring for the balance connection. For NiMh - I've had mixed results with two at once, to the point I added 2nd charger. The weakest cell in either pac seems to controls the charge. I get a better charge using two chargers. If its lipo you want to do, its more complicated due to the balancing. I know it can be done with proper wiring, but seems like it takes an electrician to understand how to wire it to do it right.
