The last versions is using 2x 12v/40watt cartridge heaters I have found at dx.com but you can find them on Ebay and other Asian sites as well. The 2 do 80 watt on 12v, that is about 7A
As motor I used a 12v 550 type geared motor with a 400rpm output. this will not draw more than 1A so a 12v power supply with at least 10A is enough to power it.
I believe the geared motors you can find all over Ebay provide about 320rpm at 12v but because our power supplies are 13.8v it will run about 400RPM
It is hard to find a flex coupler with 6mm at one side and 5mm on the other but be sure you have 5mm at one side with a clamp system (no rubb screw straight on the shaft) and make the other side fit on the electric motor its 6mm shaft.
As indicator you can use a ammeter with a range of 1A (more is not needed), These simple modules can be found on ebay etc up to 5A range w/o the need of an external shunt resistor which makes it more easy to build but is not essential for the working.
