Default starterbox battery charging

ey my ofna starterbox has two 6 cell 1500mah packs in it [like the kind of pack you run in an electric car] I need to charge them up so I can start breaking my motor in tonight, you think around 3 amps is ok? lmk thanks

If they are 1500mah they might be NiCads... if they are 3 is probably pretty low.. 5 or 6 amps should be ok.. If they are NiCads make sure your charger is set correctly.

What kind are they? Is there label on them or brand?

i remember the good ol days of racing with nicd's. i use to charge my 1500 sport packs at about 4 amps and then peak them off at 5 amps. 3 amps should be fine to charge it. just always keep an eye when charging.
