Default Silencing the CTX-D2

This thing is just too loud, my friend has the D1, and its sooooooooooo much quieter. Does anyone know the fan size/type on these? If anything I will try to find lower dB fans. Its rediculous it has to be this loud.

I just picked up a D2 second hand and thought something was wrong with it since they were so loud, but now I guess it's normal?? Has anyone been able to quiet them down?

They're supposed to be loud, thats how much air they move. A quieter fan won't push as much air and the discharger may get to hot.

it's because the fans are so freakin small, so they have be a higher rpm to push the same air.

would be a lot better if they redesigned it with larger fans, would be nice and quiet, ditto with the cell master
