I see on Tower the TC version is cheaper than the regular Sphere. I assume the regular one for $200+ is the 2007 version.

Given that, which one is better suited for Dirt Oval? I guess I thought all along that the TC was the best one they had until I saw the price difference.

might as well go ahead and get the TC, thats a good price for a new one. what motor are you running?if its a 4.5 down the fan will help for sure
