Default Speed Controller Issue

I am just getting back into racing and such and have recently pulled out my T3 and B3 FT. After charging up a few batteries I try out both cars. B3 works as a I remember, however; the I didn't have such luck with the T3. Back when I was racing the T3 was more to just drive for fun while I actually raced my B3. The reason why I am telling you this is the speed controller in the T3 is some duratrax one that I don't think was that expensive. Anyway here is the issue. I turn on the car and everything seems alright. The wheels turn accordingly but when I hit the gas I get nothing. The weird part is when I flip the off switch the motor does a quick few turns. The reason why I am asking this is I am looking to race this weekend with my little brother and I thought he could use my T3. If I have to go buy another cheap one I suppose I can, however I am trying to save up for a brushless system. Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks much as always.

I had the same problem with an older esc, burnt out fets. You will need to buy a new one.
