what is the advantage of HRS over PPM.

I'm using the 603ff receiver in a rc8. Does anyone know if the antenna wire can be left inside the radio box and still have good reception?

I'm thinking charge the batteries in the transmitter's battery tray, but with the tray removed from the transmitter..the battery tray connector matches one of the adapters that came with the ICE. Is there any good reason why I shoudn't charge these at 1C rate? Or is it better to charge these at C/5 or even lower (C/10, C/20)?

The radio has a current limiting diode in the outside charger connection. You can charge the batteries installed in the radio using the charge port if you set your ICE current to 0.5 or 0.6 A max. I have been doing this for years. If you want to charge at a higher current you will have to remove the batteries from the transmitter. I think the battery temperature stays lower if you use a lower current. I usually charge after two race days.

They advertise better resolution for a smoother feel and faster response. You need digital servos and 6V to run HRS as it will kill analog servos. I run HSR when I can and although there isn't much difference I like it (it's probably all in my mind). I'm never the last to leave the start line.

My 3pm has developed a click when I turn the wheel. It has been there for sometime, and seems to be getting worse (or I am noticing it more). Everything seems to work fine, but the click is getting to me.

Anyone else have this problem? I havent taken the radio apart, worried that something inside was broke and if I took it apart, the radio would be not work anymore.

Any suggestions would help.

hi i just bought a 3pm and i have heard the recievers overheat when running lipo batteries does anybody know weather this true and if it is is there a fix

I also hear that the r603fs and ff are different in the us campared to australia and they wont bind to an australian radio ie us reciever to autrsalian version radio or vice versa is this true
