Default JR Z-1 Problems...need help!

I have a JR Z-1 that I dropped. It was in a padded case and nothing broke, but it is stuck in the direct set mode when I use ET1 Lever. I called up JR and they never heard of it. I tried deleting all of my stored models, but it is not exiting the mode. Is there anyway to do a total reset of the radio or a way out of this mode? As of now, when I turn on the radio, it will crank the wheels all the way to the left and when I try to recenter them using trim, the screen says direct set mode and won't do anything.

Your steering pot is damaged and needs to be replaced.

Is it something I can do at home or must it be sent in? I'd hate to see how much it costs to repair.

You'll probably going to have to send it in for service. You should contact JR/Horizon about the cost.
