Nice skin, smracer31! Anyone else have pics of their skinned, or modified 4PK? Let's see 'em!

Why do you see more 4PK's for sale then M11X's... Or more people saying they wish they would've just kept there 3PK

I think there a few reasons. The M11X is only a few months old. So it's still too new to see them being resold.

People may not like the size of the 4PK receiver compared to other radio brands that are half the size.

People could be experiencing problems with their 4PK receivers.

Or like anything RC...people want to try something new.

I always see them on ebay one or two at a time I'm waiting for a really good deal to buy another one but it is still keeping the value high so it will be awhile before I can buy another one. I guess I got really lucky with mine no problem yet on all of my 7 RX I'm using it on 6 cars and 1 for the Virtual RC.

How is Futaba's customer service? I bought a servo 8 years ago that was DOA. Took it out of the package and it was dead. Hobby shop told me I had to go through Futaba CS (don't think they were great planes at that point, but my memory could be off on that one). Called them and the best they would do was sell me another for $75. I paid $83 new. Thanks for nothing Futaba.

I have spent thousands on radio equipment since, but not one dime has gone to Futaba after that CS experience.

Soooo, is it any better these days? I'd be interested in some new radio equipment, but I'm not going to have that happen again.

First off I would never go back to that hobby store if they can't atleast hepl you with the problem, if you bought it from them. If you bought it online goodluck on making them help you most mom and pops hobby shop hates that coz they feel that you are using them.

So far Futaba is been good with me when times that I needed to replace my receiver antenna they gave me a proper part no. to replace the antenna on my receiver.

I can only speak for my experiences...but I had one bad experience after another with Futaba customer service. I was heavy into JR/KO products and then switched to Futaba. Wish I never would have. Dealing with Futaba over their 4PK was painful. So I just got fed up and sold every Futaba product I own. If Futaba wouldn't stand behind their products neither would I.

Then again, I know others who swear by Futaba. Whether or not they dealt with Futaba's CS I do not know.

Well I was out of town at a race and haven't had occasion to go back to the hobby store anyway, but it sounds like Suna had the same experience as me. Seems Futaba is grossly overpriced (4PK is more expensive than most other pro radio's) and their service is still lousy, so I guess I'll put up with the few oddities of Spektrum. At least most folks who have problems seem to report good resolution from Horizon.

I have an SC8 which I've installed an onboard glow ignitor . I'm trying to trigger it on channel 3 of the 4pk and can't get it to work properly. I've read the book but can't find any answers. Can anyone help ?
