Dumb question time.

Default Dumb question time.

Ive looked and havent seen it anywhere although im not sure how to phrase it searching. Back in my younger days the receivers had a battery pack or the battery eliminator switch. With these new ones does the receiver get the powerfrom the ecs? Im guessing it does but dont want to fry my electronics. Thank you in advance..

Yes. However if hookup more than one esc to the same receiver, you will most likely need to pull the red servo wire out of the connector of the slave esc.

Ok thank you. Im only running 1 esc .. why would you run 2? For crawlers running 2 motors?

The receiver gets its power from the ESC.

my personal favorite Jangified creation was the Jetsam AWD using a pair of ESC's and ducted fans for power:
