Savox 1272SG replacement case?
#1
Hi guys, I have a 1272SG with a bad thread on one of the 4 screws. Nothing dramatic, but I'd like to replace it as the servo is in otherwise great condition.
I have two questions regarding the replacement Savox servo cases:
- I suppose it doesn't have to be exactly from the 1272SG, as some others look the same as well. Eg. the 2271 I have looks the same, whilst the 1258 is visibly different and I can confirm it doesn't fit. Can anyone comfirn this interchangeability between sane looking top parts? This would help with finding the parts.
- Is it possible to upgrade to an aluminium one which fits?
Thanks!

Thanks to both of you for replying, and willingness to help. However, it's not the info I'm looking for. I know the specific set for the 1272 exists, of course, however I'm asking if they are intechangeable with other sets which is more easily available on the EU shops I buy from. Amazon doesn't functionally exist in my country, and ordering from the US for such a cheap part, with shipping and import taxes, doesn't make sense. So to visualise, I'm preparing orders from different shops, all of which have some Savox cases, but none for the 1272 specifically.
So the question is are the cases from the 2270-2274 HV brushless line same as the ones from the 1267-1272 HV coreless line? All of which have the molded "S" logo on the top, opposite to the output 25T gear. They look visibly different from the, for example, 1258, which I can confirm doesn't fit. Just thought maybe this knowledge circulates among Savox users, as they are very popular and proven servos.
