Do you have the Box or manual for it? It should have come with a QR code to scan to get the app. To hook up the Bluetooth the BT module must be plugged into the speed controller then turn on power to the esc.

High chance you first need to go into the phone bluetooth menu to connect the bluetooth device.

As Roelof mentioned. You have to pair the BT dongle with the Bluetooth on your phone. If you look in your BT settings on your phone there should be a list of available Bluetooth devices. It’s just like pairing a Bluetooth speaker or headphones.

You can install a bluetooth scanner app. Such an app will scan for all devices and their signal strength.
I assume it will show up a name.... Also with android sometimes you need to switch on the location services as well to make bluetooth fully functional.
