Best servos

without defining OP's definition of 'best', i will assume (1) unlimited price range, (2) market leading equivalent features and durability, leaving (3) performance.
the short answer for 1/8 nitro buggy: sanwa pgs-xrII
by the most important metric (results) of a subjective question (best), within the above parameters, this is the servo that beat(s) everything else on the market. period.

But he is right. These kind of topics do not get a real true input than only comments from fanboys. Also the topicstarter wants the best, I wonder is he wants to afford 200 dollar servo's, most of the time with such "what is the best" questions people are scared off from such best prices.
Also the topicstarter did not mention what transmitter he has, if it is a higher end Futaba or Sanwa then we could advise high response servo's. The 1st response about high response mode servo's has totally no use if the topicstarter is using a simple Flysky GT2 transmitter.

someone (myself in this case), read the thread's OP, considered the question/subject, had an opinion, took the time to research/justify that opinion (i.e. yahoo search led me to circusrc that had pics of ongaro's most recent 1/8 nitro wc ride), frame a response that identified unstated assumptions and answered the question in the most objective (i.e. non-fanboy) way i could think of. someone else had an opinion on a different product. good for them and thank them for sharing.
stop being so toxic. the community has a lot of good people with good input to share beyond being "fanboys".

Roelof already posted several links to threads where the exact same question had been asked and answered already. What more is needed? And by the way that criticism coming from you of all people is quite rich...
Actually my post was targeted at a very specific group of people who have pushed one particular brand in the past with quite outlandish claims. And while I'm also skeptic of all these "what's the best" threads, there's usually enough people who still give solid advice on these threads. Yet, as these questions get asked frequently, and you already posted all these links to different threads, I didn't feel the need to run through it again here.

I've had good luck with KO Propo servos (Grasper STD Max). Same with Sanwa PGS XR II. They're both very good servos from reputable manufacturers. My preference goes to the KO servo, but then, since I have a KO radio, it just makes it easier to make modifications to the settings directly from the radio.
