Default What amp to charge 1S lipo battery for transmitter use ?





Hi all,


I am using a SkyRC T200 charger.

Please advice what ampere do I use, to charge the above photo battery ?

If you charge it when placed in the transmitter I would not go higher than 2A.

Definitely not above 1C, but since there's nothing to gain from higher amps here and these cells are not made for any real loads, I'd probably use even less than that.

I always charge my transmitter pack at 1C. I have a 2500 mah battery, so that is 2.5 amps. However, I never charge to full charge (8.4 volts), normally stop around 8.1 to 8.2 volts because it's a Lipo. You can't leave a Lipo fully charged for long periods or it can puff.

Something like that I charge at less than 1 amp. Maybe 500mAh. Because I want all the mAh I can stuff in it. And there's no rush so I can spend the day charging it.

Pg13 in manual. Lipo 3.7v 3200mah. 3.2amps enter, INC/DEC 1S enter, then Start/Enter. Telling you the true, I havent seen 1S lipo the hi on mah. maybe 2000-2200mah.
