I especially like the stuff in git hub where you hooked up a switch where you could short the pos and neg pins on the receiver to get the " bug " to trigger. I could see the devs facepalm themselves clear as day in my mind.

just tell me the issue #, the release ver, whatever. you're gonna be snarky but follow it up with... nothing.

it was a quick test to try to troubleshoot why I was having runaways. as you can see, I got exactly zero help from the devs on the issue. make fun of it all you want, i guess, if that's how you want to deflect from the fact a cheap ass $30 chinese piece of crap radio didn't runaway in the same car or cause the car to spaz out under the same bench testing setup. not a good look for the world's most advanced "top of the line" radio to be utterly outperformed by a cheap piece of crap RTR radio. lot of snark for someone defending a radio that causes full throttle runaways.

Damn dude, you have projection issues. Would you also like to know why devs gave you zero help? Everybody in the class raise your hands if you know why Nick get's ignored.

Ah, yes, that's exactly what I thought you'd post. Yup, that bug was fixed in V3.4.0

Read through the comments on your vid, tested the failsafe on my car like many suggested you do to find out IF it's a failsafe problem ( which you would have done if you wanted to HELP ) you just reply " NO " and go on with your rant about the system not working for you. It works for me so far...........................

I wanted to help long before I made that video. The wall of silence, accusations of being too dumb to use the radio, and the complete lack of help/support from anyone is the reason for the video and the complete disinterest in doing anything now other than spreading the word for people to avoid this radio and more importantly the toxic community.

I find the open source community very open and helpful, people should do their research before putting the time and effort into a product like this, it's " newish " and is bound to have some issues that will be or are already fixed. The original TX16s were not a polished product when they came out and even though I use Jeti radios you won't see me telling a guy with his $4k F5J glider he better get rid of that crap cheap a$$ radio before it craters in from an issue solved long ago. Early adopters need to have the understanding about this.

You may have given up early from frustration and a lack of patience, this appears to be the case to me anyway. One of the folks in the comments invited you to come to the discord chat to work out your problem and you refused help that the community offered up gratis, with a damn personal invite. You talk about " toxic " behavior and myself and others after reading this topic here and on the git hub and youtube comments just sit back and LOL at what you offer. You can do better.

And I find you to be the perfect representation of the experience I've had when dealing with the community the moment I started having issues with runaways. Dismissive, condescending, and rude. You made zero attempts to understand where I was coming from before coming in here and trying dunk on me because you thought I was complaining about a solved issue. And just like everyone else, you only have this "why can't we work together to fix the issue" attitude now that you've been proven wrong. It's transparently disingenuous and laughable you'd think anyone would want to continue to help or support a group/project who treats people that way.

All I know is that awhile back, I spent hours upon hours reading, researching, and writing a detailed reply here to try to explain and help Nick with understanding PWM ranges and switch modes and I 100% regretted wasting my time. I thought I was being nice and helpful, but his response to me and what I saw on GitHub was combative. Issues should be discussed constructively and respectfully, but it feels impossible with him.

And if serious issues like runways are real, we all want to know about it, but it needs to be reproducible to fix (or to understand so that we can all stop using this radio!) and he doesn't seem to want to do that except by doing crazy power-ground shorts or make a video that doesn't eliminate the possibility of other unrelated causes like brown out. And for someone who hates this radio so much and already moved on to another, I'm not sure why he's still monitoring this thread. It's kind of ruining it. I guess he's here to warn people to stay away? *Shrug*

great example - I said I could feel the difference between f1000 and f333 and you were immediately dismissive and basically said I couldn't feel it or I was lying.

"bUt It COuLd Be A BrOWnOuT!" who cares. a cheap $30 radio doesn't runaway in the exact same car. "the mt12 only works in ideal conditions" isn't the defense you seem to think it is.

I had issues as well, they weren't 100% repeatable. Hard for devs to narrow down, some not as helpful as others or downright oppositional. It's people with engineering minded brains developing things for free, comes with the territory. Other people don't have to validate your bad experience.

I Went back to another radio for anything fast enough to worry about running away. I will keep watching the development to see if things get addressed with elrs hardware.

Slapped a 4 n1 on the mt12 and I still have a radio for all the play cars with crap rtr transmitters. It was 129 bucks. Would be cool to see it at the level to compete with the established stuff, when it gets there.
