Smile Diode On The Capacitor Pack

Hey y'all! Does anyone know the values of the diode on cap packs for ~100A ESC's for 2S racing (such as a Reedy 510r or Maclan M32T Pico100)?
And since we all here having this discussion: Does anyone know why there even is a diode on the cap packs? What is its purpose?

Cheers!

A diode is a one-way gate for power. Positive will only flow through one direction while negative will only flow the other direction. They are designed to keep either positive or negative from flowing a particular direction. Diodes are pretty much only rated in the amps it can handle. So, if you wish to replace one, you will need to know what the amp draw is and get the diode that can handle that amperage.

Could be one of two things. It might be used for reverse polarity protection to keep the electrolytic caps from popping in case the battery gets plugged in backwards. Alternatively, diodes are often used as noise suppression so it might also be used in conjunction with the caps to protect the MOSFETs from damage due to switching noise.

Not sure about exact values but they are there to prevent voltage sag. When powering up a motor at full speed, the capacitors try to keep all the voltage it needs to spin at 100%. Usually you would need to go bigger if your running a drag car or high speed build

Is it a diode? If you are talking about an SMD component then a Tantalum capacitor looks simular and has more sense.

Edit:
It can be a so called Transzorb diode. It is like a zener diode
