The motor it's self is legal. You might have to swap the endplate and steels screws to race at one of the few national (US) events, but it is extremely pedantic for a club to enforce this rule that has ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT on performance. Maybe we should add this situation to one of the many "Why is RC racing dying?" threads.

What is the point of having a rule if we're going to collectively agree to ignore it?

Outside of a few ROAR run events all rules are at the discretion of the club. Not many location enforce the 1C charging or even charging bags. I would be really surprised if any clubs enforce the aluminum / titanium screw vs Steel. In the US most tracks follow the USVTA rules (not the ROAR VTA rules), yet body figures aren't consistently enforced and some allow HPI tires. Some clubs are more lax when it comes to bodies, in regards to weight, number decals and paint jobs as well. I would be really interested in what rules this club enforces and what they allow to slide. As an outsider looking in, it really seems like a club official got a bug up their butt about Trinity.

This thread has gone completely off the rails from a guy asking about his motor compared to his friend’s motor to omg pink endplates are completely illegal!! Smh

I'm new'ish to racing and don't know squat but it sure seems like ROAR has run its course.

Is this enforced at nationals?
Is insurance gonna pay off for a lipo fire when safety rules aren't being followed/enforced?

Is this not a performance advantage?

Your rebuttals don't change the fact that these rules are commonly ignored. MEME all you want.

What rebuttals? I'm asking questions.

Do Trinity "Certified Plus" motors pass tech at nationals?
Are battery safety rules enforced at nationals?

I am genuinely curious.
