Tried that. I know castle requires reverse for throttle. I think it's a potentiomiter issue that's out of adjustment or such. Parts are no longer available for the 3PK so I don't know if sending it in for a tune-up would be something they would do. The pot may need replacing and they won't do that because of parts discontinuation. save it for parts I guess. -(

If the steering servo does work then no binding is needed. If not tyou should also check if the transmitter is in the right mode PPM/HRS/PCM for the receiver.
Radio had been working fine for a couple of months. This all started one day at the track. lost cal. after shutting radio off. Did a re-cal. and worked till radio was turned off again. After 3rd attempt, could not get it to cal. anymore. Think it wants to Retire".
