Default Data logging (amp draw)

Hey fellas. Anyone aware of a data logger that is not crazy expensive that can track peak amps as well as average amp draw? A graphing function would be handy but isn't totally necessary. The eagle tree elogger V4 would have fit the bill but it looks to be discontinued. I found the toolkitrc wm150 but it doesn't appear to log any data, only shows realtime. It does give peak amps though. Temperature logging would be handy as well but again my primary need is amp draw. Thanks guys.

You could switch you're ESC out for a castle ESC. A lot of them have full data logging.

Do you know which models offer it? I have a mamba max a couple mamba max pros a few sidewinders and a mamba monster. Do you know if the logging works with brushed motors? Thanks! I had no idea castle ESCs had logging.

Ha! check the specs. You might need to order the USB linker but a few of those should have logging.

I have the field link Im pretty sure it can be used as a USB link. I'll just have to borrow a computer and check it out.

I've done some reading and I don't believe any of my castle ESCs are capable of data logging. It seems that they didn't introduce that feature on the surface models until the x line. I emailed castle to confirm but in the meantime is anyone aware of a logger similar to the eagle tree? Apparently they are out of business and I don't see much in the way of used ones floating around. Worst case I could buy an ESC with logging but a separate unit would be much more convenient

If you are handy with an Arduino then with an arduino, a memory module and a HALL type current sensor you can make your own logger.

Hi everyone,

I managed to obtain a copy from an old laptop and just tested it in a new laptop (Windows 10).

Please PM me if you'd like to get a link to a copy of it. If anyone has ideas on how to mass-share it, I'm all ears.

Thanks,
-R

Google drive or some other form of cloud storage, set the share permission to "anyone with the link".

I have a copy, but it looks like you can download from the Internet Archive:
