Battery, motor and esc questions
#1

I have a 60a esc and a 4300kv motor which I currently run on a 2s lipo with a 30c discharge rate and a 4000mAh size. I want to know however if I would be able to run a 3s lipo with this setup.
The motor specifications are 4300kv with a 3.5T rating with a max of 75amps with a resistance of 0.0075 ohms
The esc specifications are 60amp esc from surpass hobby.
I would like to hear if anyone knows if I can run a 3s lipo with this setup and if anyone can suggest any cheap but good options.

Generally NO, your combo is best suited for 2S... while it may work on 3S, your gearing options may be severely limited due to temps, more info here:If you are wanting to run 3S, then I would recommend a motor in the 3200KV range, I would also invest in a 120A ESC as well, those 60A ESC's won't last very long on 3S if you over task them.

No 4300kv is to many kv to run with any long term success. id look into a 3600kv or under 3300 kv is ok
