Questions?? Steering Servo Issues... Broken?

I seem to be having steering issues. I did some repairs on my son's WLToys 124018. This has been a fun buggy but some screws in the rear came loose and I did some work to it.

On the front I had to take the top plate from the car and also removed the steering rack from the car. Everything went back fine and the car seemed to run fine. I played with it for a bit and crashed a couple times. Then I noticed the steering wasn't working right.

It would steer fine but after several back and forths it seemed to bind and then stop and the servo would whine. If I let it cool off it would work for a bit but then do the same things. Now it does nothing.

I took some video so you can see what is going on but I can't seem to add the link, not enough posts.. Now, right after this video was taken, the steering servo won't respond at all to the controller.

Any help would be appreciated. Did I burn it out and need to replace it?
