So I finally went through an entire roll of servo tape. It's 3M VHB, but it's about a decade old and just doesn't stick like it should

Is there any diff between the brands? 3M vs Apex vs etc?

are they "all made in the same factory" or are some better than others? Does anyone keep them in any kind of bags to keep dirt particles off it? figure a ziplock baggie will only stick to it

It's $10, but I'd rather do it right. The smaller rolls are nice as they fit better in my toolbox.

Ive always had great success with Great Planes but its getting hardier to find. Use wax paper b4 zip lock bag

Use automotive tape. That stuff where they stick mirrors to the front window.

Gorilla Tape could not even hold weights on unless you used their Glue ick..

So yeah based on the hundreds of crashes shhh um not wrecs thou..won’t use anything else but 3M

Silaprene is the Best and a bent paint scraper heated till it starts to smoke from last times removal.. I like the black great if u have 48 hours then play

Another vote for 3M VHB. Sticks well, sometimes too good. But I love that it peels off easily in 1 piece once you separate the 2 parts. No more scraping the parts to get residue and tape remnants off
