not familiar with that brand of radio, but generally no, every brand of radio uses a proprietary frequency hopping pattern that is unique for that brand of radio.

There are some brands which offer many different models of radios and will offer compatible options, but you still need to stay within that same brand.

There are also some brands which will "re-brand" under different names which will also be compatible, it's the same physical radio, just sold under a different brand name. I just did a quick search for your system and it doesn't look like any other brand I've seen before so I doubt it's a rebrand and probably won't be compatible with any other system if I had to guess.

Nomadio had a DSS Mode.

They called it Da Slow Mode. IN DSS Mode, you could bind to the original Spectrum receivers.

I still have 2 Nomadio Reacts myself. Using them for my No Prep rigs.

Man, i don't remember for sure. I just know it was the original 2.4 Specy radios from around 2008-2010 era.

You are sure it will work?
DSSS is just the way of transmission, it says nothing about the used protocol which is transmitted.

Yes, It will work on the original Specy rx's. I tried it back then to verify it did for a few buddy that had specy issues.
If I had access to a few old specy rx's I could bind the Reacts I still have to it I'm sure. But I don't have any, nor do any of my rc buddies anymore that I am aware of.

And yes, the DSSS mode is a different way to communicate, which is why they bind with the original Spectrum rx's.
Nomadio's transmission rate was too fast, even for the Futaba rx's at the time. Which is why Nomadio called the DSS (Da Slow Mode). lol
The Transmission rate had to be limited so it would communicate with them.

To make it clear for other readers https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spread_spectrum

DSSS is choosing a frequency and will stay on that, FHSS is fast switching frequencies with a certain algorithm w/o you will notice it. But it says nothing about what signal is transmitted. It is like the old AM/FM. With FM Futaba had PPM and PCM receivers, although the FM part was the same, the transmitted signal wasn't.

The early 2.4ghz systems were based on older FM/AM transmitters so I can imagine the transmitted protocol by then was still PPM (servo pulse width), for sure today all is transmitted in a digital code where every brand has its own code.
