Hi all,
In my nitro buggy, I have an old RX 461 and I put STS-01T temperature sensor (I know I'm old school :-))
Is there no more new receivers that are compatible with the temp sensor?
The RX-461 is out of production.
Thanks,

The new receivers can get temp from the sanwa esc as long as the motor has a thermistor built into it. For example the factor motor does have the sensor built in. The temp sensor is 2 wires on the ribbon cable. Its a simple 10k tc thermistor. If you want to use your sensor its probably an external 10k thermistor. Run the ground through it and send the signal to the esc through the ribbon cable. Sorry, that the best i can do for you and it will get your sensor working for you but its not elegant.
by the way if the motor already has a sensor you dont want to parallel your external sensor. But allot of motors dont have the sensor.

Thanks for the replies but my question is for NITRO!! I still cannot find a way to read temperature of my nitro engine other that finding an old RX 461 or 462 and using the STS-01T sensor.
Is this accurate?
