Default Hobbywing Quicrun 10BL 120 question

Does anyone know for certain if this esc is compatible with 4-pole brushless motors? Been checking the specs but can’t find anything definitive confirming this. Interested in using one in a crawler as a smaller, lighter option for running a 2200kv 4-pole brushless motor on 3s. Thank y’all for any info you can provide.

I already have the Hobbywing program box for another esc. I reviewed the program box manual already. When you say “dl program card manual” were you suggesting to look at the manual (which I did) to no avail. I also emailed Hobbywing with the question just not sure when I’ll get a response. Thanks

I have used a 4 Pole motor in the past with this ESC without having to make any program card changes, I believe I ran a Toro 3660-4600KV motor in my 4WD SCT at the time. I have since upgraded to a XERun SCT Pro ESC with a 3660-4000KV motor which is working much better for me overall.

The way things are looking I’ll probably snatch up another Hobbywing XR8 SCT esc. I have one in one of my TRX4 trucks with a 1800kv 4-pole 550 and it’s great. Strong bec, amazing drag break, and I already have the program box for it. I started this thread trying to find a smaller esc option but it’s too limited. The XR8 SCT will fit so I might as well stick with that option. Thanks fellas!

Did hobbywing ever get back to you about it? I'm looking at using one with a castle motor, so also need to know.

I run this ESC on a Xerun 3652 sensored (5100kv) motor on 2s with a 2wd rustler with no problems, its ridiculous power.

I have one with a 4-pole motor. No issues.
