Also, just because everything is new doesn't mean you may not have a faulty product. If you can, I would start with swapping out the receiver and testing, and then swapping out the ESC and testing (not at the same time, one at a time to see if one fixes the problem). I don't know where you are located but you may have someone local that will let you borrow an ESC for testing if you don't have another vehicle you can borrow from...

Yeah, Im getting another rx and testing that first. Like I said before, I needed another one anyways. Then Ill move on to other items...

Make sure your battery terminals are tight in the battery. Had one that wasn't tight enough and gave me a problem like yours.

That might be it as well. It did cross my mind but wouldn't it just shut off completely though?.
it was weird. Fans on but no signal to servo or esc
