Default Motor always faster in reverse?

I have a Hobbywing QuicRun 120a ESC a connected to a Turnigy Trackstar 7.5t Sensored motor and no matter what I do (apart from switch the motor wires and go sensorless) the motor always goes much faster in reverse.

I have calibrated the Throttle range as per the manual in every way I can think of, with the TX channel 2 reversed and normal, calibrated the throttle reverse instead of forward. It always ends up with the reverse much faster?

My TX is a Flysky FS-GT3B.

check your wiring so that A-B-C wires correspond between the ESC and Motor

Except with a sensored motor, if the wires are not correct, the motor shouldn't even spin. Or at least it would be coggy.

When you are going forward on the transmitter, is the motor spinning counter clockwise? It sounds like you have forward and reverse, reversed.

Does the ESC have any lights on it at neutral?

I dont know if it applies because i run a different system but i can set the end point on throttle to 110 percent and it give me more speed. Doesn’t hurt to try it.

If the motor has adjustable timing on the can, make sure it isn't accidentally set in the negative direction, as this could also cause this behaviour.

Not mentioned yet - but run through your ESC radio calibration again. The ESC may not know where the radio's endpoints are and is not seeing "full throttle".

As has already been mentioned, you can't swap the wires around on a sensored motor.
