Installing a receiver

Ok I am new to this so what I need help with is how do I install my receiver and hook it up

Not sure I understand the problem.

ESC and servo plug into receiver. Velcro or double side tape to secure receiver

Ok this helps the only RC I had back 20 years ago were RTR i never had to set up so I just was not positive how it went

Usually, Steering servo plugs into channel 1 and ESC into channel 2. (one to turn 2 to burn) Channel 3 is for transponder and if you have an extra slot, that's for receiver pack/booster. -)
