Default Frequency chips

Can frequency chips in the transmitter be change to match the existing receiver in a plane.

If you are talking about 2.4ghz systems then the answer is no. On 2.4ghz systems there is a compleet language transmitted which is different with each brand and even with different models from one brand. You need matching receivers....

If you are talking about 27/40/72mhz then thos chips are called crystals and yes they can be changed. Still be aware that some brands -for sure with FM- can use special crystald that do not work with other brands. Also here it is the best to use the right matching receivers and crystals.

Default On tx and Rx crystals


Thank you for clearing that up for me, it is an older Hitec lazer 4 with a 72.070 crystal and a receiver is a Hitec 72.030
Im not sure what radio went with it.
