I turned the sound off the first time I turned it on, even vibration on low is too strong for my liking.

If anyone is willing to part with a small receiver, please pm me!

They have the small one here. Also noticed they have the NB4 Pro in stock as well. Pricy, but fast shipping, and also local (for me). |

I do wish Flysky makes a barebone version of the NB4 pro. I really dont care about the case, phone stand but do want a new radio to play with . The standard NB4 still has that issue when voltage drops lower than a certain level(4.4v maybe), the rx will randomly lose signal... This is on miniz evo platform, I hope the larger scale don't have this issue.
GT3B would randomly cut out down my 500ft road and havent had a single drop-out so far for the NB4. I am using the P Rx though, and not the one with an internal antenna. I also keep my antenna completely under the body. Sounds like its an issue with the Mini-z, but I have no experience with them. |
Also, I ordered my NB4 off Banggood from the China warehouse beginning of September. Even with the port delay (30 days), It was 2 months to my door in FL and came with V2 Rxs.

Hello All. My apologies in advance if this subject has already been covered. I did multiple searches and could not find what I was looking for.
I've had a NB4 for around six months now. It binds with my two FGr4S V2 receivers no issue. However, when I power on my cars the transmitter and receivers do not always connect. I have to shut the power off and then back on in the car multiple times until the transmitter and receiver finally connect. Very frustrating. Additional info: My transmitter is running 2.0.85 firmware (Aug 11, 2020). Hardware is version 1.2 and the receivers are FGr4S V2. I have not attempted updates to the transmitter or receivers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

First suggestion (more like 'recommendation') is to update the Rx firmware. 2.0.99 is the latest, although 2.0.93 is considered by some to be "good enough" (I'd still recommend 2.0.99). Second, update the Rx firmware on all receivers. Just remember to back up everything to a computer BEFORE you update the Tx firmware, and then reinstall said backup to the Tx after updating the Tx firmware, but before updating the Rx firmware.

.93 and .99 are the same firmware. the .99 allows the support for the RTR Mini Z that is the only difference. if you have already updated to .93 and have no need for the Mini Z RTR Support then Flysky recommends that you leave .93 instead of doing another Firmware update. As there is always a chance of bricking during updates. If you coming from a previous version then it really doesnt matter which one you choose.
As for the "difference" between '93' & '99', while I don't exactly have any intension of getting a Mini-Z, one's "intension", and what one ends up doing, aren't always the same. I didn't "intend" on buying the just-released XRAY X4, or the Vanquish VS4-10 Phoenix Portal.........but, sometimes, things just "happen". |

I agree. I updated mine to .93 when it first released. And I have an EVO mini Z so I have no need for the mini z rtr module. So I don’t have the need to upgrade again to .99. If I get some rtr mini z then I’ll update it. But as of right now I’ll do as Flysky recommends and keep it as is.
if the .99 was out then I would have used it. |
Soulcoma, I updated my firmware to .93. Cycled the car on/off in my shop a few times and went to my local track to spin a few laps. So far, so good.
If the issue comes back I'll post again. Thanks for the help. |
