Thank you you saved my ass at jbrl this weekend left it charging and it worked not boot before my open E truggy a main, freaked out, but held the reset and power and she booted up, not confidence inspiring, but had my sanwa radios decide to not turn on before as well, so still happy with my NB4
My radio did that thing where it bricks itself after recharging again. I can 100% confirm this time the solution is simply pressing the hidden momentary button inside the controller grip. See below. NOTE: There are buttons on both sides of the grip. To fix the issue, use the button on the RIGHT side of the remote, not the left side button as pictured below.

Hi guys,
I purchased a brand new Flysky Noble NB4 in AliExpress and received it today. The idea is to use it in combination with a RM-005 module to control my stock Mini Zs.
I won't receive the RM-005 module at least for another week so I tried to test it playing VCR Pro (connecting the new transmitter to my PC via USB). However, neither the steering wheel nor the throttle trigger are working; they are stuck at 10% and -100%. All the rest of the buttons except for VR1 are working fine.
I upgraded the firmware to the 2.0.99 version and then downgraded to 2.0.93 with identical result.
I'm pretty new in the R/C world and this is the first transmitter I bought (so far I've been using the stock ones that come with the Mini Zs). Am I missing something?
Thanks for your help!

Yes, I tried. But when I get to the Axis Calibration screen the X and Y values don't change when I move the wheel or the trigger. The X Axis fluctuates a little bit (one up, one down) even if I leave the transmitter still.
When I turn on the transmitter, even without connecting to the computer, the values for channel 1 and 2 are:

- Channel 1: Fluctuates between 10% and 11%
- Channel 2: Stable at -100%.

2-The older AFHDS-2A RX where honestly cheaply built. Ask some 1/5th scaler or nitro head that that used a GT3B/C and you're bound to hear how the RX failed from vibrations which is not common with better built rx, in some cases causing a disaster. It simply isn't good to have someone using a $200 radio with a $6 RX that's a ticking time bomb.

I haven't had any of the latency issues you mentioned on my Turnigy GTX3(Gt3b clone) but very informative review/info.
I absolutely LOVE the look of the NB4. I was thinking it would be my first real mid range transmitter but there wasn't very many real reviews. All I could find was people saying don't get it because nothing FlySky is worth over $60.
You really got me thinking again, and I feel like I might end up with one when I get my Tekno MT410.

was hoping the RM005 would work with older AFSHD, since the IT4 would work with MZ FHSS. The Rx accepted the RF update, but wouldn't bind. Not sure what my fascination with getting ancient RXs to worth the NB4 was about. lol.

Has anyone been having battery life issues? I've had my NB4 for two years now, and battery life used to be great. I could go several race weekends without charging it at all. Lately it's gotten really bad. Today I charged the handle up to 90% and the base to 75%. After less than an hour of use at the track the base was completely dead and the handle was at 50%. I'm running the latest .99 firmware.
