Is there supposed to be a bigger foam, or do both wheels use the same foam? If there are different ones, where is the best place to buy in the US?

Also, I see a lot of "cages" for sale, but all are purple, red and black. Does anyone know somewhere that sells dark blue or orange?

I've looked for both at SoarSkyRC but no luck.

there are blue and orange ones, check on amazon or temu or the china import sites. otherwise they are aluminum and u can get them stripped and redone or just paint one to your liking

New user looking for advice

Just purchased a new nb4+ to try out. Comming from sanwa. Anyhow they sent me the mini z version instead of the standard version I ordered. I did not open it due to I may need to return so my question is what is the difference between the 2 versions? Can I use what I recieved and just purchase some antennaless rx's and be good or do i need the standard version? I don't know anything about mini z's so this is all new to me. Thx for any input/advice

Yes. Its only categorized as the "Mini-Z" version because of the accessories included (EVO receiver and RM005 module).
The transmitter is no different than the "standard" package
When binding with any other compatible FlySky receivers, the appropriate protocol is specified.

I have no idea about regulations in your country, but with the STD firmware I never had any range problem, even on big nitro asphalt tracks.

I think you would need more RF power only if you are doing speed runs and need to control the car from 500 feet or more away

The FCC firmware is the firmware that complies with the Federal Communications Commission of the United States. The radio transmission power on 2.4GHz products allowed by FCC is larger than that of CE.
Australia has its own national framework with respect to transmission regulations (ACMA), so neither is directly applicable.
You're "safer" to use the STD setting on your transmitter when operating in Australia. FCC is a U.S. standard, while CE (STD) is the European standard that applies to many other regions, including Australia.

Hi! Noble NB4, updated to newest FW: 2.0.116, April 28, 2025. HW 1.2. RF library 3.0.

Cannot bind FGr4S v2 RXs. I updated the RXs as well from the TX. Still no luck binding. Any thoughts? Never had a problem before,

RC

I just updated to 2.0.116FCC and it told me I had an earlier version than the previously flashed 2.0.116 standard, seems to jive with what others have found so not concerned. I was able to update my 2 fgr4s rx's and bind them just fine.
My question is: under the model menu, it has an option to set as race mode. Any input on that button? It seemed I could set it but unable to turn it off?

Anyone purchase from AliExpress or Soarskyrc.com?

Has anyone purchased the FlySky Noble NB4+ from either AliExpress or Soar Sky RC? If so what has your experience been and any recommended resellers you would choose to buy from on AliExpress? Thank you in advance.
