3s Lipo Question
#1
I have a 5000mah Onyx 3s lipo that I haven't used in 4 years. I use this in my crawler. I've kept it in storage mode at 3.8 volts per cell. I checked it last night and it was at 3.7 volts per cell. Is it still good? Or should I just get a new one? Thanks.

Really depends on the temperature you stored your battery, more than likely you will have lost a significant amount of capacity and the IR (internal resistance) will no longer be matched between the cells and cause significant imbalance toward the end of the discharge cycle. At the very least I would increase your LVC to the highest possible setting just to play it safe as LVC doesn't work on individual cells... take note of how far the cells are out of balance when you first place the pack on the charger after a discharge cycle.. if any individual cell is below 3.0V then I would replace the pack. 3.7V/cell is good for storage, but be sure to check the voltage of each cell after LVC is triggered, that's the critical point to determine if it's time to replace the pack if any cells have dropped below 3.0V
