on a Futaba T4PLS ( 4PLS )...
on my 3PK,, I had normal steering at 60 .. and the sw1 (D/R) set at 100...
how do I do it on my new 4PLS...
I have read and re-read the manual.. I just can not get it to work.

when I adjust the d/r to 100.. it also changes the d/r not pressed to 100.. so the switch do not work on and off
I am sure its "ME" and not the radio. I am doing something wrong.

You might be able to achieve something like what you want by setting one of the DT switches to have a high 'step' value and assigning it to D/R. Figure our your ideal lower dual rate value, the set the step to the difference between that number and 100. You'll then be able to press that switch in either direction to adjust the dual rate between 100 and your desired value.

Right now the switch is at 100 in one position and 100 in the other. You need to adjust one of the 100's down to 60. So it will be 60 in one position and 100 in the other.

using the control switch or the menu to change the numbers.
its like SW1 is not connected to anything.

On page 67 it gives all the options you can assign to SW1. Dual rate is not one of the options you can assign to SW1.
On page 66 it shows Dual Rate can be assigned to DL1 or any of the DT switches.
You are going to have to assign dual rate to dl1, and then set the resolution of the adjustment. If you set the resolution to 40, moving dl1 one detent will change dual rate from 100 to 60. I would set the resolution to 10, which would mean that it would take 4 detents to go from 100 to 60. This would give you 4 steps instead of one from 100 to 60.

Read the manual more carefully.

I do have DL1 assigned with resolution of 40 as your said...
60 is normal.. and index finger rotates DL1 forward one click to 100... and 2 clicks remain at 100..
as its harder to rotate counterclockwise as easy... back to 60 is not that difficult.. but 2 clicks give me 20 then zero...
I just have to be careful.. with it.
Thank you again....
