Default Simple 2.4 radio

I getting back into the hobby but only doing 1/ 10 indoor carpet. I have an M11 radio now and wanting to sell it and find a little less bells and whistles unit in the 2.4 category. What's a good budget unit to look for.

For budget unit, I would recommend radiolink unit. Either, rc4gs or rc6gs. I saw a youtube video that the rc6gs has some firmware issue, one side of the steering is faster than the other. Anyway, if you don't need more than 4 channels, I suggest you to pick rc4gs

For arround 150 dollar I think you still have high framerate models from Futaba, Spektrum and Sanwa

I recently had to send my Graupner in for service and had to rely on my Radiolink as a backup, it took a couple of heats to adjust, but was still able to hit 98% consistency and get the same fast lap times, only complaint is the steering speed adjustment isn't as smooth as Graupner, so I had to settle with more expo and less dual rate to make it work. There are no adjustable ergos but it checks off all the boxes for a decent budget system that I would recommend:

Stick with anything Sanwa.
MX-6 - entry
MT-44 - middle class

Was thinking along the lines of a Futaba 3PV or Sanwa/Airtronics MX-6 FH-E.

If you have the budget to get either 3PV or MX-6, I suggest you to go for Sanwa MT-S. I get mine from RCMart for $80 without receiver. Then, I bought a use RX451R for $30. Which end up at the same price point of 3PV and MX-6. MT-S is much faster compare to 3PV and MX-6. But, if you still insist on getting either 3PV and MX-6, in term of performance, 3PV is faster. In term of ergonomics, MX-6 is better.
