I have a Hitec HS-5035HD servo and the HPP-21 programmer. I want to change the resolution so that I can cover a wider range of angles. In the PC software for the servo programmer the option is not available and appears grey in the program menu. Whilst this is not for R/C application it looks like you folks know a great deal about these parts. Is the HS-5035HD adjustable as I expected, or do I have a problem with the software.
Thanks,
Jonathan

I do not think you can extent the range on the servo because in normal mode it is already 2x 90 degrees.
On most transmitters and also on your programmer it is called EPA (end point adjustment) and with most current transmitters you can go beyond 100%
If that is not possible you only need a longer servo horn to get more range.

The HS-5035HD has a fixed resolution that cannot be altered. You simply re-adjust end points (EPAneuFS) if you need to change the throws. Bear in mind that the servo does not have physical stops in it and it is possible to adjust the throw far enough that it causes undesired operation of the servo. Always program without anything connected to the servo arm.
