Same! I've had a PowerHD servo for well over 5 years now and no problems whatsoever - which is more than I can say about my other servos (mostly acquired in used RTR bundles though).

New Blue Bird BLS-30A servo is holding up well. Build quality is great, has some nice features like stall protection and soft start. It's worked great the last 2 race weekends. They seem to have fixed whatever was wrong with the two BLS-29As I had.

What is 6 pages to read? If they were a hundred then I can imagine it is too much....
I can imagine that ADHD can be disturbing but how do you search end find als those cheap batteries you buy? Dyslexia is no excuse not to read text, I know all about that! but 60kg servo's? I am pretty sure the Chinese can provide a cheal 60kg servo but for sure it will not handle 60kg as wil many cheap Chineese products the spec are overated, |
Also, no offense Hardbash, you create multiple random threads as such, one could assume you are capable of finding the info throughout our forums. Just sayin

Another week of racing, another podium using the Blue Bird in my ebuggy. Very impressed with this servo so far and glad it is holding up. I hope this doesn't come across as spam - just trying to provide a long term review since the old BLS-29As I had died immediately.

What do you mean by how do you connect? If you mean to the receiver usually they connect one way, but just in case the Rx will have a S (signal), + (Positive), - (Negative) labeled. Usually on the servos you will have a black wire or brown. That usually will be your negative, so match it with the rx. I hope this answers your questions, but, your question was very vague so difficult to be able to answer it. Also what brand servo are you talking and model. Thanks |
For some of you guys, you have had the AGF servos for a couple of months. What does the long term outlook like? Also curious for the folks that have tried the Tekin servos also how the AGF units compare.

I've been buying stuff from Banggood for years and this is the first time I've ever been sold what appears to be a used/returned product :(
As luck will have it, my AGF A80 BHM just arrived in the mail today, but the box wasn't sealed, in fact the lid popped off as soon as I opened the package, the servo wiring was poorly wrapped and then I noticed scratches on the servo mount tabs like someone used the servo and then returned it! Probably more trouble than it's worth for an exchange on a "new" product, but I suppose it will all be good provided the servo is working properly, I plan to run this in a SCT410.3 that I plan to buy in the near future... more to come https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...8ffe5e03_c.jpg *** UPDATE *** I have taken apart the servo to inspect the gears and they are in excellent shape, the grease is still clear and appears the servo is in fact new condition, I looked closer at the product page and the markings around the servo tabs appear to be intentional, looks like they did a lousy job of packaging the servo after all... https://img3.bgxcdn.com/thumb/large/...41f93955fa.JPG |
Those markings could also be from a fixture used to help assemble or test the servos during manufacturing.
|
I also inspected the gears on my TeamPowers servo and discovered that they are not compatible with AGF like I had originally suspected. I realize that the Team Powers servo is a low profile, but past experience with other brands of servos has always shared similar gear box design across the entire lineup and these two servos aren't anywhere close:
https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...349cd4cd_c.jpg So now the big question I have is where to get replacement gear sets for the AGF servos??? |
