Here's one for the drag guys...

Can you imagine a small block .15 dragster going 1.788 ET @ 76.6 MPH!

Who's rail was that rawn? That's straight crazy...

Racing yesterday was fun. Completely unprepared, but my car has been in the groove or at least close to it. Staying out as late as I did the night before, I had to dig before I got sapped of my energy, but still had a great time as always!

That was the last race for one of our newer RCAR members... so long Albert! Now only Wes and Mr. M have the fearsome RRR now... speaking of which, I greatly appreciated the body. Made my day even easier- which is always nice.
Hope to see you all next race

Im2lazy...That was rail on the mainland at the Hotlanta Race. Your car was pretty awesome and fast. Our day ended pretty early. You might have been able to make it to the end.

Albert had a rough day but I hope he had fun. Hope he can get some races where ever he's going.

I need to work on another old motor. My MR12 was too hard to work with. Probably because it was too loose. When it did run it was good. But couldn't idle. We'll see what I have for the next race.

That RP (or PR) tire was okay until they heated up. Maybe gotta make more holes in the rim. Gotta try again next race.

Yesterday was a hot one...close to 140F on the asphalt.

Well the smaller mid pulley worked for me, good turn in and was able to pull out of turns...lots of front overdrive. Just got to true front tires smaller.

After giving it some thought, I think the engine wasn't tuned right. Was blaming it on the clutch. Put in the other engine to see how the clutch will be next race.

Albert said that the Nats would be in his area sometime this November. Also mentioned that there were a lot of tracks there in ROAR Section 8... four midwest states or something like that.

Also, when I got home, I crashed in the bed and found it tough to leave later that day... I did too much. Showed up at my house at 7:30 and decided that I'd like to get in a couple runs at the race. Glad I did!

Nitro drags this Saturday night! If you haven't seen it yet, gotta check it out. It's fast and it's fast! Should have some new setups out there testing so should either be a faster night or a short night.

.12 dragster goes 1.81.9 @ 68mph in NJ. Boy, that T/A Dragster class is getting unreal!

RoyU...When I was running my foam I also liked the overdrive front. Didn't cut down my tires cause too much $$$. You could really get daring with the trigger finger.

Kakaako was fun. The motor that couldn't run at the race worked fine there. Must be the night air. Maybe I'll put together my old broken TR.

Drags was pretty uneventful except for a late night mishap. A little damage but nothing that can't be fixed. Otherwise, pretty rough night for most cause more wrenching than running. And no fast times. Keevan was the only one running solid with his Alcohol Dragster. Don't remember if he was in the 2.0s or 2.1s but got that boat pipe working pretty good. Got my NTC3 to run only in the 2.5s with gearing problems (broken and wrong). Couldn't get it to idle long enough to come off the line well. More to learn. It did go 44mph in first gear though.

...heat+no compression= no go... That's the equation I've come up with.

40% Boy, racing would start to get expensive. Well, more tuning at the park tomorrow if the weather holds. Maybe playing with gears too. Hate working on the NTC3. So humbug. But it's a great parking lot car. Gonna try and get my old TR running again.

Waiting for the lower pinion and larger spur gear for 1st ger to come. Hoping that would give the umph I need on the bottom.
It work out for the 705, should expect the same with the 710

Did you read that Palmaris has a software the gives RPM by the sound of the engine? Very interesting.....

RoyU...Hey, more giddy up coming out of the turns. Should be fun! And yup, that software sounds pretty interesting. Might be a great tuning thing. More stuff to bring to the race.

Kakaako Park tonight. Breaking in my old TR with new P/S. Putting in a slower motor in my NTC3 so gotta drive the oval. The MR was pretty fast there but had trouble idling at the drags just like at the race. Maybe gotta make it a drag only 40% motor.
