Hope everyone had a great long Labor Day weekend. Kids back to school. Xrc is racing this coming Saturday Sept.8th. Who is planning on coming out? Need to get this thread active again. Regular times sign up and practice from 7:00-10:15 am.

We did some work on the track last night, nothing too drastic was needed. Track is in really good shape despite the nearly 4" of rain it received on Tuesday.
We dragged the track with a rake to even it out again and resurfaced a few of the jumps. The little double going through the S-turns and the double before the 6-pack are both much easier to make. I was even able to make the S-turn double with my 2wd mod short course with just a blip of the throttle, you nitro guys shouldn't have any issues whatsoever. The 6-pack should be much smoother to make for the 1/8 guys with the first couple rollers getting a bit more of a lip to get things going.
Track prep continues tonight, any help would be appreciated. Starting at about 6PM.

Awwww Yea now thats how a race program runs, nice job XRC crew for gettin it done for us racers. Looked gloom and doom in the morning cause of the rain but you guys pulled it off!! And the new dirt is sweet, if you were't carefull that 2nd jump on the 6 pack would send you to the moon. Enough said see you in 2 weeks

AWESOME JOB GUYS!!!
My hat is off to the XRC crew!! You guys ran the best race program I've been to this year. Wow!! For the guys who missed today we ran all 3 heats & 20 min nitro mains. I was home by 4pm. Man & the track is better then the first race day this year. You guys really deserve a round of applause. For whoever is thinking of going to another track because they are unsure of the track. For get about it. This is as good as it gets. We had a great turnout today & would like to see alot more of you guys in 2 weeks. Nothing more to say but AWESOME!! Thank you for a very fast & pleasant race day. See you guys in 2 weeks.

Great day of racing today. Program clipped along smoothly and the track was in beautiful shape. Track is much trickier than early in the season. Glad to see racers coming back. Next race should have even more entries, there was a cash race today, e-scale world champs this weekend and the weather was saying we were crazy for showing up. But we got all the races in with 5 min to spare, lol.

Hey guys, XRC is adding 1 more race to the calendar this season for Saturday, Sept 22 (next Saturday). This will give everyone the opportunity to get another race day in before the end of the year. Only 4 race weekends left this year, so let's get them out before the winter takes over.
If we get a large enough turn out, the electric classes (ebuggy, etruggy, short course) will run triple-A mains on the 22nd as well.
