what makes the better packs better? The outgoing wires or connectors cannot disburse anything more than 30-40C. Lipos do not peak like the NiMhs did. As long as the pack is made well and stable they are all the same.

To answer some questions about the lockers, they will be large enough to hold all of your cars and equipment. We're working on the size but should be 30"H*24W"* 24D".

Don
this is great, and we can rent them all year round? My wife will never know that I ever bought another rc related thing.

Sup Angelo, yea it seems pretty solid. Comes with a lot of goodies and worse case scenario, ill just swap a motor & esc, if I need to.

punch is more consistent, longer life, higher charge rates, better quality connectors. Lipos do peak FYI.

Don those ideas are awesome and i think it's gonna make this a great place to race.

I like that idea...or run no quals and do a 3 or 4 race point system.

ie. 1st place is 1/4 point, 2nd is two, 3rd is three, etc. etc.
the person with the lowest points wins and if there are 4 races you get a throw out.

If there are no Sunday races Don stock some 1/12 and touring kits because I'll be going to New Rochelle and I'd bet I will not be alone (they are looking for a shop affiliation to open a kiosk type shop there)..

If you have not, read the first page of the SCTE thread in the electric off-road section. Very informative.

I'm so excited that this is actually happening!

Schedule looks great Don, maybe a little later on Saturday nights?

Don
Youll need some adjustable shelves to separate the different cars.

2wd went together very nicely, I don't have the 4wd yet... I gave Aldo a deposit and I'm picking that up Saturday. Drew has both built already.
