Randy and I got in to Maryland at 5 PM. Exactly 5 hours and 300 miles door to door. It is amazing that the first trooper that we saw all weekend was once we crossed the border into Virginia. The troopers (mostly unmarked cars) were in full force collecting revenue for the entire state.
Great weekend of racing. This was our first time to Rosewood and definitely won't be our last. Let us know when the next trophy race is scheduled. Randy and I had lots of fun and enjoyed the pressure chasing the TQ spot.
Great job Timmie and crew putting the event together. We just could not get use to pitting on the carpet track.
Congratulations to all the winners. And especially the the Mimi Wong Clan (MWC) for the clean sweep in 17.5 TC.
Can't wait to see Sarah's photos and some video.

1. Justin TOP
2. Randy XRAY
3. Timmie TOP
4. Craig XRAY
All four cars were pretty much running the same time 21 lap pace and capable of the TQ. Although Craig had the fastest hot laps, it was going to be interesting how he would get by Timmie. Some really good racing was scheduled for Sunday.
...till another time

:WARNING -LONG POST:p:
Hello everyone,
Sorry for my delay on posting....I have been sleeping and catching up on rest
It was mis fortunate that we weren't able to get the Amains in before the rain came down, but at least we were lucky enough to have most of the weekend good for us.
I want to thank all the racers that came again! I really appreciate you all making the trip down. It was great seeing some old friends, and great making new ones. Everyone that came down was so nice, and a quote to sum up what the locals had to say about the out of states that came down...."These guys are cool! When they coming back?!"
Competition was super high in all classes.....that is what I expect BUT! Everyone stayed cool, friendly, and most of all people had FUN! Everything I had hoped for when I made this race. Thank you everyone.
To the sponsors of the event, It meant so much to me and the participants that you all were able to donate so many cool items. Most everyone won a prize of some sort, with June winning the big prize...a brand new sealed in box Tamiya TA05V2 Kit I can't thank you all enough.
A BIG SHOT OUT TOO!!!!

I've learned a lot from organizing this race since I have never done something like this before. And I also have learned just how hard it is to try to keep things rolling when your racing 2 classes yourself! LOL! I've got some big plans and ideas for the next one
Wait till you all see the pictures Sarah took....they look like something straight out of the magazines...some really cool shots of almost everyones car that was here over the weekend. I will post them up when we get them cropped. Tory has some great ones as well that he will get online soon too. And as another form of appreciation for the hard work the winners put into this event....I have another surprise for you Sarah and I will be working on a special gift for you...it may take us a little time, but when we finish we'll show you what we've done and you'll be getting them in the mail It's something I've never seen given away in RC Racing but It's something for you to really remember the event by.
Once again, Thanks everyone, and see you all at a track near you
