Okay, here's the deal....I talked to andyh and we will make this an official class at the Challenge!

Being that it is an official class, HPI drift rules will apply. At first, I wasn't sure if this class would be popular here since I've never heard of a drifting event in our area before. If we had only gotten say, 3-4 drifters, I would have just made it a demo....

Seems like there are more drifters than I was aware of, so we'll give it a shot making it an official class!!

Would it be frowned upon if I ran Expert Mod and "sport".

Does sport mean like new people or just refers to it being slower.

What about "box stock" can an "expert" run box stock.

I just want to run mod and more than one sedan class.

I'll let andyh take this one....

Just so you know, I'm home on vacation this week, so a lot will get done for the race......shhhh, just don't tell my wife.....

I started putting the decking on the driverstands and painted up the Vintage Nitro....

You know I had to go with my normal NJT scheme....LOL

Still have to attach the rear bumper, rear wing, and just waiting on my vintage trojan rubbers, and I'll be all set....

If anyone else wants to show off your HPI Challenge body, we'd love to see them....

Hey folks,

it looks like I will be able to make it to the challenge and will be bringing my super. I'm still working on Nigel, but he hasn't committed as of yet.

Expert and Sport would probably be ok since it's just mainly Mod and 19T

Usually we do get beginners in Stock....as far as being frowned upon?....I've been to races where there are "Pro" stock racers and everyone's cool with...and I've been to events where the Stock class is just for beginners....

1st choice for 2nd class if you're running mod/expert should probably be 19T/sport...

Ray?

Sounds good to me.....

The two RTR electric classes (Box Stock Electric E10 and RTR Stock Electric) should give the beginners good classes to compete in....

shame....all I've been doing is racing for 2 years........Well, at least you have a chance of winning concours....( unless, of course, I decide to finally enter one...)
