Royfan-Sure would be fun to hit Corleones again Before next year

Burkett-Your stuff is dialedThanks again

Corleone's....Count me in. It would just be cool to race here again. The parking lot is awesome. Come to think about it, Don's old place is vacant. He paid $1600 or so a month. $1600 divided by 30days equals $53 a day.....who's down for a month of carpet racing? Shoot, maybe we could even borrow Don's system as it's just collecting dust at the moment

Then we would have to sign a lease, pay for water, Electricity, Gas.......Lets just use the parking lot for FREE!!!

As far as classes go, here is a list of classed that have been talked about.

Pan Car
1/12 Stock w/brushed and brusless, 4 cell
1/12 19 turn brushed, 4300/10.5 brushless, 4 cell
1/10 19 turn brushed, 4300/10.5 brushless, 6 cell or lipo

Touring
1/10 Touring 6 cell or Lipo - 27 turn brushed / brushless, Rubber tires
1/10 Touring 6 cell or Lipo - 19 turn brushed / 4300 - 10.5 brushless, Foam tires
1/10 entry class 1/10 4 cell 27 turn - rubber tire
1/10 Masters class 1/10 4 cell 19 turn / 4300 - 10.5 brushless, Rubber Tire?

Formula Libra (OPEN) or (REV CLASS) - 1/12 pan, 1/10 pan, 1/10 Touring Any 540 can based motor or similar brushless, max 6 cell or 7.2 volt Lipo, NO NITRO!!

The rules will be pretty much ROAR for car weights and dimensions. As far as motors we will run brushless and brushed together. We are going to allow lipo in all of the TC classes except the Masters class and Entry class.

I think that we need to keep the number of classes as low as we can, otherwise you end up with 6 or 7 races with 3 people in each class.

Later, Lee

I'd suggest that the stock class be a foam tire class. It seemed that there were always many more people in Westminster running foam vs Rubber.

Darkside-you gonna start running some Nitro

Mcd-we'll be on the asphalt this weekend

I would agree with "E" about the Stock Foam class. Always seemed like that class was/is the most popular I guess the Saturday meeting will put this issue to rest.

Ok guys, the non-profit corporation is in its final draft form.

Officers to start the club have been selected. They will serve only til December 30th, and then have a vote by the members. Board of dirrectors, made up of 6 who donated for the carpet purchase will serve until Dec 2008. With the other 6 being the dirrectors for 2009.

At the meeting we need to talk about several items:

Running 2 or 3 pavement races prior to starting the carpet season.
If we do, where do we want to run?

Classes to run on the carpet.
Entry class, 1/12, 1/10....
We need to post the classes and rules by mid October for all the racers

Race fee structure.
Amount for each racer,
2nd and 3rd car,
Family rates,
Track set up / take down

Only those who pay thier $100 club dues will be able to vote, so bring your $'s and dirrect the club where it needs to go.

If you know people who have shown interest, but may not know about the meeting, let them know.

I'll bring large drawings and pictures of the space for all who are interested.

Thanks
Mark

In talking ith the attourney, paperwork has been filed with the State of Colorado.

So we should be a fully operating club by the 1st of the week!!!

See everyone at HT-Westy for the Fall Classic.

Who's going to win the concourse, since you do not have to drive with your body on the car at the event?? Will FB/FX clear the table as last year???

Will I have to give him the trophy for the Pew-Joe AGAIN??

Will I survive the motor home experience??

I also heard that someone called 9news to let them know about this event!!!

Ok, time to pack!!

Cam't believe that I am the first to post on this site!

With the Club Stuff - we have 28 paid members and 4-6 more who are sending me thier stuff, so we have attained the membership level that I was looking for. To all, since we did not vote on anything on Saturday evening, I'm going to have Doug Powel, our sectetary send out a ballot that needs to be back by next Monday to vote on the "Starting Classes" for the carpet as well as race date and locations for 2-3 club races on the pavement.

Please get this back by next Monday the 24th as I would think the 29th could be our first date in Greeley!!!

There again was a question raised as to the ROAR membership. This is a 12 month member ship and starts when they issue you your card. If you are a current member, you need to bring us your current card and if it will expire by December 2007, you still need to pay the $30. It will then extend your member ship by 12 months.

Lastly - Good time was had by almost everyone at the Fall Classic.

Grenade-The 29th sounds good to me, a good dry run to test and tune the club members. Tell the few who didn't have a good time this weekend I/we will try harder next yearNow that I think about it if someone didn't have good time it was there own fault. Granted I'm exhausted but I've been having fun since Friday of last week Again thanks for the pizza

Dirk-hope it was fun

Seems as though tech inspection really get's the masses fired up Since the club is a ROAR club I'm sure the tech inspection will be a little more routine. So everyone will get the hang of itAnd I'm sure the club will tweak the rules as necessary.
