The motors are all Tekin Brushless motors. I'm confused why I would need spurs in the 90's, wouldn't a different combo of spurs/pinions put my FDR in a similar range? Am I missing something about the smaller spur? Please don't take offense to all the questions, I'm just trying to learn.

a smaller spur and pinion will be easier to get the FDR you want and will leave room in case you feel the need to gear up.. with a bigger spur you might not be able to get the rollout you want since the motors only move so much on the bulkhead

No offense taken ask all the questions you need we are here to help .if you are running foam you will be using the 13.5 and you will want to roll that out at 39.5 - 41.5 but it will only take a little time at the track to get you dialed in. As Joey stated with the 008 there is very little room for motor movement and that is why u would need the smaller gears
