pretty much anything in the 27-32 range gets the job done. i've been running cs27's all day long just because of the convenience of pre-mounts. i've also burned through some old sorex 28's and 32's and honestly didn't notice a huge difference. i felt the insert, larger air gap = better, affected the traction more than the compound (within reason).

...well, being it's Wednesday and I haven't seen a post from the race crew, I have to assume there won't be any racing This Weekend in either AG or Nipomo...
