Congratulation to Ray K on his major Mini win. Ray K picked up a new sponsor and Cooper body after his Trackside TCS #142 Mini win.

Next Stop
Got to take the F1 show on the road back to FastCats for the Canadian Challenge April 25-26. Randy surprisingly won F1 at the FastCats Christmas race. I am sure the Canadians would like the win back. This time we will have to take Jamie Hansen and his green/black monster with us for a 1-2 punch.

By the end of the year, the Coliseum and The Track is going to be known for the best F1 talent. A few more local F1 racers are coming on-line and should be ready for the Glen Burnie TCS race.

TCS #142 Results

F1
Randy - TQ and 1st Place, fastest lap of the day - 11 sec flat.

GT1
Randy - TQ and 1st Place - fastest lap - 11.502
Austin Vacek - P5 and finished 2nd Place - second fastest lap - 11.59
Great 1/2 finish for the 2 - 16 year old Randy and Austin show.

GT2
Austin Vacek - TQ and finished 3rd Place. Traction rolled each main and lost leading position. Lee Passehl who travelled from CA and won for the last 4 years took 1st place.
Todd Marshal - P10 and finished 8th Place

Mini
Ray K - P2 and finished 1st Place
Ray is on the mini roll. 2 wins to start off the year. The boys in CA can't wait to have some of this.

Other locals who attended with respectable finishes
- Doc Mertes (Red Dot Motors)
- Bill Vacek
- Todd Marshall
- Steve Hickman

Winning Tamiya Cars for Sale
  1. Winning Tamiya TRF 416 (no electronics) with off-the track setup is for sale.
  2. 2nd Place (behind Mike Haynes) Trans Am Tamiya EVO 5 is for sale. Got to be the fastest local Trans Am car.

I take my post back.... after checking out the 12th weight of my GEN X with a 4 cell 860 is right... The Gen X with a 4 Cell weights in right around 867. The Gen X with a 1 Cell Lipo weights in around 750 or so.. I added 8 tungsten plates to get my 1 Cell car up to 863 running weight.
