You know my step son was killed in a car accident 4 weeks go by a drunk driver. Some one that step out side the rules and didn’t use good judgment. I my self have all so used poor judgment in the past. I do my best not too put my self in any situation of poor judgment. I would hope that some one that is DQ. at the national would lean some thing from this. All the work that Tamiya has to go through at the national to keep a fair and level playing field. one would have to question that it all starts on the regional level. I support Tamiya , not the person im competing with. 2007 MINI A MAIN WINNER Laurel MD. BOX STOCK SIVLER CAN.

Alright guys less than two weeks till TCS!!! The shop will be opening at 8am on Sunday the 15th for open practice for about 2 hours we will tentatively start qualifying at 10am so if you need practice time I strongly suggest you make it to the warmup race on Saturday.
As far as motors are concerned I talked to Tamiya yesterday and they gave me the RPM limitations of a silver can and the best legal motors out there shouldn't pull more than the 17,000 when people start to tweak motors and bend the rules the RPM's shoot up and that's when either the motor goes up in smoke or I DQ you.
Let's have some fun!! And get ready to race!!

By the way, when I got home from the race last Saturday night I checked my TCS Legal Silver Can Motor which I used during the race. It registerd 12,300 rpm @ 5v? so I guess it would be resonable to say that the motor is not the total answer on the car being fast? everybody seems to be sooo caught up with the issue of HP? as fast as my TA05 IFS was at the last race and my motor only turning 12,300 rpm my car was a huge factor in me going that fast?
Looking forward to race on the new TCS layout! Did you guys loosen it up a bit from last weeks layout? I will be there tomorrow in the pm and will race GT3 on Sat.
Steve.

Steve.
Yes it's much more open than the last layout. Probably sub 12 second laps for GT3 but that's just speculation at this point.
Look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
Peace,
Casey
