How can you not love a class where money means nothing (see Travis's message above) and the racing is close and virtually maintenance free? Plus I got in like 150+ practice laps before and between the heats and Mains!
The fastest lap times in the results speak for themselves. It doesn't get closer that this. All the fastest lap times within .1 of each other. Great job to Ray and Doc for setting up this class.

I'm sizing up a TT-01 as I type this message! After a 2 year racing hiatus, I hope to be in the mix soon.

Spec was awesome

FYI ,the TQ and winner were driving TT-01's , 3rd and 4th had TT-01E's.

The TQ was using a kit speed controller , but the fastest lap was with a TT-01E

There is no difference between the cars.

The rules and free handout motors went very well. After Doc and I ran about 300 test laps last night. We will make two final changes to the class:

1)We will allow both aluminum drive shafts

2) The kit tires work ok, but we are testing some different tires.
FOR NOW we are still running kit tires. Early Nov. we will switch to a new
spec tire.

Next spec class race will be Oct. 18. Once old man winter sets in , we will run every sat. I'm sure there will be some missed days due to mine and Doc's family stuff. We will always post if we running or not on this thread..

hey random qtn: In the "Mini" class at the C are the 1/14th scale Sportswerks Recoils allowed to race? They are selling the pro versions in woodbridge for only 100 bucks and racing them in the parking lot.

Anybody who has a question about their TT01 for the Senior Spec class just post it here and we'll do our best to answer it for you.

Loaner/rental cars are on the way, but the kits are so cheap we figure this class will EXPLODE over the next few weeks. Did you see how close those lap times were?!?!?!?!

They would be a different class than the micros. We have a couple 1/14 scale rtr's as well so if you have three guys bring them out.

I have ordered my kit, so I guess I'm committed!

Unfortunately, it's not scheduled to arrive until next Wednesday. I don't think that I can be race ready by the 18th though.

I'll be back on the 1st just to practice (gotta pick up the wife at Dulles at 4:30), but will have at least one and possibly two loaner/rental cars with me that day. You guys are welcome to use them to race that night if RayK will hold on to 'em for me at the end of the evening.

I'll be there on the 8th for the whole day.

This is FUN RACING!!!
