Actually I've MET Chuck Butler as he co-wrote with Tom Coomes and was part of the original Maranatha Music family, but the Chuck that was the leader of Love Song was Chuck Girard. If I recall correctly, Chuck Butler was with the group Country Faith and then with Parable, as well as doing some solo stuff, and now has a band named for himself.

I had to share this.
This is probably this most Awesome Christian band that you have never heard of.
The band is HB. They are a Christian Symphonic Metal band from Finland. They have an album in English called "Frozen Inside". I have it and love it.
There are a bunch of their videos on youtube.
Here is "It Is Time" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWxpgBUwO6c

Hey Guys,
Got a chance to meet the lead singer from Thousand Foot Krutch. I just happened to be racing downstairs of our Shrine Auditorium as they were setting up a concert upstairs. Very nice and great guy. I knew I liked that band for a reason.
God Bless

This song brings a great tear to my eye! Just makes me think how AWESOME and GREAT our Lord and Savior is and the gift he has left for us to accept!

Some new favs of mine.
Lecrae (rap)
Mat Kearney
12 stones.
I met Mac Powell (Third day lead singer) recently here in Atlanta. Very cool dude, laid back. He has the whole Jesus hair thing going on! Its long!
I met him at the Bethany Adoption Fundraiser. He recently adopted and became a supporter of adoption.
Even if you don't like rap song, check this video out........ his story is powerful!

I like most of the traditional bigger name stuff, with my fav being
Casting Crowns. Mercy Me is another favorite of mine, as they were putting out their best songs during a really rough time in my life. Their song 'Keep Singing' is one of my all-time favorites, and is one that I would just sit and listen to over and over again during that time.
Also like Micheal W, Jeremy Camp, Mark Shultz, Third Day (I Can't Stop the Rain), Rebecca St. James, and many others. Back in 2004, I switched the radio channel in my car over to AFR and erased all the other presets that I had, and made the determination that it was the day that I listened to secular radio no more, and I haven't. With the exception of being somewhere wher I can't change the station. You can't believe the difference it made in me and my walk with the Lord. There a few truer things than...garbage in...garbage out!
Gotta give a shout out to my nephews band, Art of Exodus. He is the drummer for them and they have serious talent. The verdict is still out on whether they will have the character needed to handle the success they are experiencing. As we know, satan is very talented at tearing people down when they start to experience succces. Time will tell...
